Site 3: Upgrade DS2000 16x48 to DSX-160 16x48 with Voice Mail

Site 3 is on the verge of expansion and wants to upgrade their common equipment and add voice mail. Like

site 2, they do not want to invest in new station equipment.

Existing DS2000 Equipment Upgrade Requirements for DSX

any DSX KSU slot but slot 1.

(1) DS 8-Slot KSU 80001 Must be replaced. DS KSUs are prohibited by FCC

in DSX.

(2) DS Power Supply 80005C Must be replaced. DS power supplies are prohib-

ited by FCC in DSX.

(1) DS CPU 80025B Must be replaced.

The DS CPU is not compatible

with DSX.
